What we collect

Dinner at 7 collects as little personal data as possible. Specifically:

Community photo uploads: photo, optional name and optional tip. No account required.
Reactions on recipes: anonymous counts, no personal data linked to individuals.
Analytics data via Google Analytics (anonymised IP, page views, session duration).
Email subscriptions: your email address and language preference when you subscribe to the weekly digest. We store a consent timestamp for GDPR compliance.
Push notifications: a browser-generated subscription token (no personal data) when you opt in to daily recipe notifications.

How we use it

Photo uploads: display on the recipe page the photo was uploaded to.
Analytics: understand which recipes are popular and how to improve the site.
Email subscriptions: send you a weekly digest with the top recipes. We use Resend as our email provider. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
Push notifications: send you a daily recipe notification. You can disable this anytime in your browser settings.

Storage and security

All data is stored in Supabase (servers in Frankfurt, EU). Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We do not use external advertising networks and do not sell data to third parties.

Cookies

Dinner at 7 only uses functional cookies (language preference) and Google Analytics cookies. There are no tracking cookies from advertising networks.

Email data and unsubscribing

We use double opt-in for email subscriptions: you must confirm your email address before receiving any emails. Every email contains an unsubscribe link. We store your email, language preference, and consent timestamp. We do not share your email with third parties. Our email provider is Resend (servers in the US, SOC 2 certified).

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to view, correct or delete your data. This includes your email subscription and push notification data. Contact us at culirated@gmail.com for requests.
