Heat olive oil in large pot and sauté onion until softened
Add eggplant and cook 5 minutes until starting to soften
Add bell pepper, zucchini, garlic, and tomato paste, cook 3 minutes
Add diced tomatoes and herbs de Provence, simmer 15 minutes
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions
Toss cooked pasta with ratatouille and fresh basil, season to taste
